We had a terrible summer in Central WI this year. I think we hit 90º once, if even. Most of the time it was mid-70s, gloomy and just not summer-like. Also not good for growing tomatoes or eggplant, in case you were wondering, as both of my plants have very little growing on them. But my chocolate mint plant basically took over the backyard, so this must have been perfect weather for it.
Since the weather was so icky, Eli had only one or two chances to play in the sprinkler. And Labor Day weekend was probably the last chance of the year. So I grabbed my camera, Dad-oo and the pugs and we headed outside for one last run. I hope you enjoy the photos! (Click on the photo to see it full size.)

Wow, these are great! It looks like he’s having a super time, really workin’ it for the camera! haha
