Leg Hugger Review and GIVEAWAY

Leg Huggers

I’ve been following Leg Huggers on Twitter for a while now, and have always been intrigued about their products. They look so adorable on little girls, under dresses or skirts. Accented with a cute pair of shoes and you have one styling baby girl!

But what about for boys? I have to admit that I was a little skeptical at first. Would I really dress my kiddo in them? He’s out of the crawling, into the full blown running circles stage. And then I saw a tweet about using them for potty training. Jack pot! We’re just getting into potty training over here, these leggings couldn’t have come at a better time.

Potty Training in Leg Huggers

If you haven’t gone through this yet, the easiest way to go about potty training is to set your little one butt-naked on the big boy (or girl) potty and wait. Read some stories. Wait some more. And if you’re really lucky they will go. Then all hell lets lose as you jump up and down, cheer and offer all sort of praise (and maybe the occasional piece of chocolate too). But this time of year, the waiting can get a little chilly.

Leg Huggers - Army Friends

That’s were leg huggers come in. Just slip them on each leg for a super soft, super comfy way to keep those little legs warm while sitting on the potty. And one of the best things about these leggings is that they are made from bamboo, which is more breathable, comfortable and has better thermal regulation than cotton, wool, or synthetic fibers. Which means your little one stays warm, dry and comfortable while they learn how to use the big boy potty.

If you are special enough to live in a freezing cold climate like I do, these leggings will really come in handy in the winter. Slip them under your kiddo’s pants, and it gives them more protection against those below zero days and frigid wind chills. Or add them as an extra layer of warmth for those fun days spent building snowmen or starting a snowball fights. One of the nicest things about these leggings is that they aren’t bulky, so you get the extra warmth without sacrificing mobility.

I like wheel power! And what a great idea about the potty training… Maybe I’ll have to get on the boat with potty training my 2 and a half year old soon.

And the puzzle ones – what a great idea for potty training! And for the time afterwards when tights are great for the weather, but just a wee bit difficult for small hands to manage!
