While you may think that it’s nearly impossible to get mad, frustrated or…gasp…annoyed at this face:
[singlepic id=476 w=500]
You may be surprised by the phrases the kiddo has been repeating lately. Things like:
“I’m driving momma BONKERS”
and my personal favorite
“Oooohhhhhhh Child”
I’m not exactly sure who he heard utter these phrases. But if anyone asks, I’m pleading the fifth.
It is however, impossible to stay mad that this face. And the arms that wrap around my neck in a bear hug. And the tiny voice nestled into my neck that proclaims, “I LUV you!”

I tell my little buggers daily that they are LUCKY they are CUTE!!!!
Your little guy is too!
I can only imagine what my little monkey will come up with when she starts talking. She already imitates my frustrated growl.
@amber, They catch on so quickly. Quicker than you imagine, then all of a sudden, it’s too late, they are repeating things they weren’t meant to hear. *sigh*
bonkers? has he been hanging out with my girls?

@Amy, glad my kiddo isn’t the only one. can you imagine if all 3 got together? I think we’d both lose our minds.
aren’t hugs the best?!
@noelle d, they really are, they make even the worse day instantly better.
My daughter used to say “I am too cute to get angry with.” It almost worked.
@Jack, That’s awesome. They are so clever aren’t they?
I think they come back with the “I luv you”‘s after a tough day so we don’t list them for sale on eBay.
@C @ Kid Things, or Craig’s List. Although I’ve been tempted.
LOL! Evan is doing the same thing. I love this age!
@Dee, It is a really fun age isn’t it? All of the new things they learn each day is just amazing.
Nope! Don’t know how you could ever be mad at that cute face!
@Melissa@SimplyMel, Thankfully, when the whining starts, the cuteness fades. So yes, I can get mad at him. For a little while anyway.
He sure is cute!!
