There are days when I have so much stuff going on that I feel like all I'm doing is ignoring my son. But, he soon learns to go get a toy and play by himself. I'm still there, talking to him, checking out what he's building, but I'm able to get my stuff done too. @Amber, I couldn’t agree more! I'd probably fall asleep. : ) I think that having a variety of responsibilities shows your children that while you love to be with them, they must learn to entertain themselves so you can accomplish what you need to do.
