Learn, Move and Shake

by Allison @ Alli 'n Son on August 10, 2010

A park, is a park, is a park right?

Not in our town. There is a park or two that has a course designed to help kids learn, move and shake.

It teaches you to stretch your limits…

Test your boundaries…

And let it all sink in.

That looks like such a fun place! We were at our favorite park today – this big wooden’ish playground with two sandboxes and almost like a castle type design. So much fun, and so many little things that you notice each time you go :)

Did you post pics of it a while ago? It sounds familiar. And wonderful!

It sounds like a fun park! :)

Our favorite park is right on a lake, with trails all around!

My favorite playground is the one that my husband takes the kids to while I remain quietly in the house. :)

Beautiful Photos. Hipstamatic right? One of my favourite iPhone apps! xx

Yup, you got it. I couldn’t live without that app. I need to add some of the extra lens for more variety.

That looks like a good one! Colorful and clean. We have a toddler water park that’s awesome–no water deeper than a few feet and awesome little squirty towers that unpredictably sprinkle/shoot water. I’m always sad when summer ends.

It was cleanish. There was a dirty diaper in the parking lot. Ick. The rest was very nice though.

We have a water park like that here too. Sadly we only made it once this summer.

Oh my goodness, I love the photos and the sentiment behind this, and I know my son would love the park! Wish we were there because it would be so fun to enjoy together.

It really would be. One of these days we WILL meet.

Oh, what sweet pictures! My daughter loves any and all parks. Especially ones with other kids that she can make friends with (oh, if it were still so simple for US to make friends that easily!). My favorite park is the one at my son’s ball park. I can sit on the bleachers and watch her playing on the structure and him playing on the field both at the same time!

That sounds like the perfect park. You don’t miss a minute that way.

It is amazing how quickly kids make friends isn’t it? How I long for those days.

Our favorite park is actually at a school and it has the most amazing equipment to include children of all abilities..so some of it is really easy for my little guy to use. I just wish that it was more shaded!

great photos of your park!

happy WW!

We have a school that we visit often too. There are 3 different areas all at different levels. It’s great.

It sounds like a fun park! Any one with a slide and a swing seems to keep mine content!

A slide is essential for us too. The kiddo doesn’t really care for swings. I wish that he did though.
