One of my all time favorite things is chocolate.
As if you didn’t already know that.
But pair it with peanut butter, and I’m in heaven.
HEAVEN!
Which is exactly why I love this recipe, passed down from my mom, for homemade peanut butter cups.
Dare I say that they are even better than the store bought kind?
Yes, I dare. They are better. Like a hundred million times better.
Peanut Butter Cups
- 1 package graham crackers, crushed {2 cups graham cracker crumbs}
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 2 cups creamy peanut butter
- 3/4 cup butter, softened {almost melted}
- 12 oz. package chocolate chips {use dark chocolate chips for an extra delicious treat}
- 1/4 cup butter
Mix together the graham cracker crumbs, powdered sugar, peanut butter and 3/4 cup softened butter. Press mixture into the bottom of a ungreased 9×13 inch pan.
Melt chocolate chips and 1/4 cup butter {1 minute in the microwave, stir, then 20 seconds until fully melted}. Spread over the peanut butter mixture. Let cool until chocolate hardens. Cut into squares.
Store in the fridge. Or store in the freezer, if you don’t eat them all the first day.

With this recipe, I think you are now the minxs’ favorite person. We’ll be making these!
Woot! I love being someone’s favorite person.
My favorite no-bake recipe is one I have for granola bars:

Your recipe looks wonderful! I also have a serious love thing with chocolate & peanut butter
I checked out your recipe, YUM!
I don’t think anyone can resist chocolate and peanut butter. And if they can, they just aren’t human.
Oh, those peanut butter cups look delicious! Seriously, DEE-LISH!
I love your toddler lunches and I’m so impressed how you keep up a weekly meal plan. I always say I’m going to do it, but it never happens. And then I’m a panicked freak at the end of the work day, wondering what the heck we’re going to eat! Thanks for sharing your great ideas!
I used to do the same thing. But 10 minutes of planning on Sunday saves SO much stress the rest of the week. It really doesn’t take long.
Yum, yum! Thanks for posting! Can’t wait to make them (and EAT them). Cuz I’m a pb & choc -aholic too. hee hee
Let me know what you think of them!
Wow, you totally have me drooling over here! These peanut butter cups will definitely be consumed in the very near future at our house. If I’m nice, I may share with The Hubs and The Munchkin. Maybe. Chocolate and PB is pretty much the best combination on the planet!
Oh no, there will be no sharing. Seriously, they are just too good.
These look delicious! And, the recipe seems simple enough for even me to recreate! Thanks for sharing.

It is super easy. They hardest part is crushing the graham crackers. But if you want, you can buy graham cracker crumbs, so then it’s super easy.
I am so trying these. I’ll send you the bill for the larger pants I’m going to need!
Ha! Sadly, they are that addicting. I see bigger pants in my future too.
Those look amazing – can’t wait to try them!
I hope you do. Let me know what you think!
Yum! I am so hungry right now!
Yummy! If I knew I wouldn’t horde them all for myself, I’d make them now! My favorite dessert is Moosetrack ice cream. Oh-so-good.
Oh, I LOVE Moosetrack ice cream. It’s right under cookie dough ice cream on my list.
I hate it when super delicious desserts are super easy!
And they are even easier to eat!
Ohhhhhh goodness – I LOVE peanut butter cups! In fact, I just ate peanut butter chocolate ice cream a little while ago. YUM! Thanks for the recipe!
That ice cream sounds heavenly. Imagine if it was topped with one of these bars.
It’s recipes like this that attract people like flies to flypaper!! Love these!
So true, they don’t last long at our house. As soon as they are ready, every one has their hand in the pan.
I have seen and eaten these but never made them. I’m almost scared to…I think I’d eat the whole pan!
You so have to try making them…I try to freeze half of the pan, just so I don’t eat them all in one night. although, they are pretty good frozen too.
