For a while now, I’ve considered myself a wanna-be photographer. I dabbled as a pet photographer for a short period of time. Nothing serious, just for the fun of it. And to pay for the camera that I wanted. Which is now sadly out of date.
Anyone want to send me a new one? No? Well then, click on some of those ads, so I can start earning a new one. Pretty please?
But now, I’m getting serious about it. Well, kind of. I have no plans to be a professional photographer {although I’m willing to go where life takes me}. But I want to learn now to better use my camera. Not just reading it in a book and then forgetting 5 minutes later. I want to read it, put it in action, and have it become like second nature.
No more automatic modes for this girl.
So I’m joining Madeline Bea in her 365 days. At least one photo. Every day. For a year.
And I started over the weekend.

Each week I plan on sharing a few of the best photos.

I also have a Flickr account going.

I’d love it if you stopped by to see what I’m up too.
And maybe, just maybe, this will lead to my very own line of note cards via CafePress. And eventually to my very own Etsy shop. A girl can dream, can’t she?

I love the photos! Happy WW!
Good luck with the 365 project!
I love the processing you did on these photos.
I love CoffeeShop actions, too!
I’ve only used a few of CoffeeShop’s actions. I can’t wait to dive in to see what else they have.
Gotta start somewhere! I started with my Flickr account and now I’m doing it “professionally”. Meaning I get paid to do it, and I get a lot of clients, but no way could I support my entire family off of it. But I love, love, love doing it and I feel like that is the best part for me!
Having something you are passionate about, and it brings in {a little} money. That sounds like the perfect hobby to me. Here’s hoping it works the same for me.
Wow! What a lofty goal! I’m going to enjoy seeing the fruits of your labor!
I know, I’m kind of nervous. So far so good though. The winter will be tough, I’ll have to get extra creative.
I Bet you will do pretty well with the Photography.
Thank you! I hope so.
You definitely take some cool photos already! Good luck on your 365 journey – it’s a very fun project but such a commitment!!
Thank you! I’m going to be tough, especially during the winter.
You are the second person I have read about starting this 365 day challenge this week. I have finally got a decent camera and really want to get back into photography which I used to love, but I am no expert. So I think I am going to check this out and see if I can do it.
I love your last photo – little people’s feet speak volumes without words.
I hope you join too! You can jump in any time, just start your year of what ever day works for you.
Love your photos–especially the cute little sandals. I just found Coffee Shop Actions and love them too! So fun!
Aren’t they amazing? I’ve only used a few so far, I can’t wait to see what else they have.
Those little boy feet in sandals look awfully familiar. My son has almost the same pair!
Nice shots! And good luck to you on getting a pic every day. It’s been a challenge for me…
So far so good. I’m worried about winter. There are only so many pics I can take inside the house, you know?
That’s a big commitment you’re making! Good for you. I have no talent when it comes to photographs, but I want to. One day, I hope to take a class.
I really like that one of the swing….
Thanks Jana, that’s only my favorites too. It will definitely be included in the note cards I’ll have on CafePress.
You’re photos are wonderful! Can’t wait to see what else you capture!
Thank you Staci!
