All About Boobs

by Allison @ Alli 'n Son on October 1, 2010

Do I have your attention? Good. Because this is important. October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, something that is near and dear to me.

My grandmother is a survivor. Over ten years and going strong.

My friends at Bigger Picture Blogs are helping to support Army of Women and bloggers everywhere to Blog for our Breasts. And they need your help.

Army of Women is looking for women (ages 18 and older) to pledge to get involved. The goal is one million healthy women. I’ve pledged. Have you?

Bigger Picture Blogs is dedicating the entire month of October to Breast Cancer Awareness. They will be sharing personal stories, advice and more. To learn more about Write Pink: From the Head, Heart and Feet. visit and find out how you can participate.

Congratulations to your grandmother on her clean bill of health! She is such an inspiration, as are all of you who are involved in #WritePink. I’ll look forward to reading more throughout the month.

I hope you and your family have a wonderful weekend!

I am so inspired to hear about how your grandmother is a 10-year survivor! That is awesome. And it’s such a testament to the work AOW is doing with research — because other women decided to do what you did today — be open to being part of research projects — your grandma and other women likely have had a much better chance at being a 10-year survivor. Awesome post, Allison!
Oh, and thank you for linking up today. :)
