Sweet Tooth Friday: Frankenstein’s Fudge

There are pieces of it in the kitchen.

Pieces in the livingroom.

Pieces in my purse, for emergency use only.

Pieces in bowls. On counters. In baggies.

So I took them, and I mashed them. I chopped them to pieces.

I threw them together, mish-mashed and mismatched.

I created a monster of the best kind. The tastiest kind.

Then I sent it all to work with Hubs because I really don’t want all of that candy…or fudge…sitting in the house tempting me at every turn.

What else would you do with a house overloaded with Halloween candy?

Frankenstein’s Fudge


  • 3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk {try this easy sweetened condensed milk recipe}
  • 2 cups miniature marshmallows
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • 1-1/2 cups chopped candy bars
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract


  1. Line a 8x8 or 9x9 square pan with parchment paper, leaving extra on two sides for "handles".
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl combine the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, marshmallows and salt. Microwave on high (100% power) for 1.5 minutes. Stir and microwave for on high (100% power) for 1.5 minutes Stir until smooth. Stir in the chopped candy bars.
  3. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan, spreading evenly. Chill for 2 hours.
  4. Remove fudge from the pan using the parchment paper handles. Cut into bite sized pieces. Store covered in the fridge.

What a fantastic idea! Fudge is always such a treat and your recipe sounds extra special! Luckily the only Halloween candy I have leftover is the extra from what we were giving out – my son is 18 now so doesn’t go trick or treating any more!! Thank you for hosting.
